Our Story
“We Shall Overcome” has been established with a noble cause of bringing about a sense of strength and sustainability in society. It all started back in 2014 when a group of like-minded service-oriented individuals established a Whats App group to discuss various socially significant topics. Upon detailed study, they identified that there are a significant amount of people living under the poverty line and are void of basicamenities, and this pinched their heart. Their efforts to help these people eventually led to the discovery that their means of income doesn't suffice the enormous needs of the underprivileged. So, they set out to seek cooperation in the form of funds and donations from individuals who are interested in charity as well.
For this purpose, a trust was instituted on 14.03.2018 at SR Nagar Registration office under the name “WE SHALL OVERCOME”. WSO is a full-fledged NGO that collects donations and offers help to the needy.
There are now new enthusiasts joining the group. Now is the time to decide on the focal areas of interest and find distribution. After a couple of deliberate discussions, the committee finally decided on the focal areas of charity as -

2)Health
3)Environment
Every human being on the earth has the equal right to live and thrive. We, as responsible human beings have to question the crisis that is leading so many people to suffer without access to basic amenities and try and provide for them. While we are trying to contribute our share to the well-being of such human beings, we also invite other noble human beings to be a part of our noble drive.
